Has someone you
love died by suicide?
You are not alone.

Heartache2Hope provides healing support to children, teens, and adults who have experienced a suicide loss. We offer 12-week support groups, drop-in group meetings, individual counselling and peer support, and community education. All of our supports are free of charge.

A Heartfelt Thank You!

Together, We Raised More Than $160,000

We are incredibly moved by the overwhelming support for our Walk2Remember 2026.

To every walker who laced up their shoes and fundraised, every donor and sponsor who contributed, and every volunteer who gave their time: thank you! Your presence and generosity honor the memory of your loved ones and ensure that no one in our community has to grieve alone.

Because of your dedication, we raised over $160,000. Every dollar directly funds our professional grief support groups, individual grief counselling, trauma therapy, and peer support at no cost to those in need.

While the walk is over, our mission continues. The fundraising campaign remains open until the end of July to help us reach our ultimate goal. You can still make a meaningful impact today. 💙

Heart2Heart Video Series

Heartache2Hope is honoured to share our Heart2Heart video series, featuring clients bravely sharing their journeys through suicide loss grief. These stories offer connection, hope, and encouragement to others walking a similar path.

We are deeply grateful for the courage our clients show in sharing their stories. It is a privilege to be a part of their healing journey, and we are inspired by their strength and their willingness to help others find their own way from heartache to hope.

You can watch the full Heart2Heart series on our grief sharing forum.

Feldenkrais

Check Out Our Upcoming Wellness Activity!

Feldenkrais with Cheryl Smith  (Virtual)

Tuesday, August 11, 2026 | 7 PM – 8:00 PM

Platform: Zoom

Feldenkrais involves doing gentle movements, observing them closely, and gradually introducing variations. These Awareness Through Movement classes can help with chronic stress, anxiety, and trauma. The classes are like a moving meditation and can bring about powerful changes—improving posture, reducing stiffness and stress, and creating a greater sense of calm and well-being.

This session is open to everyone, and no prior meditation experience is needed.

For more information, please email programs@heartache2hope.com                         or call 905-599-HOPE (4673).

What Our Clients Say...

“Still working on it but have come along way. At the beginning I was not sure I could continue after my son’s death. Thanks to [Heartache2Hope], I feel like I can survive this.”

“Surviving a suicide is a very unique kind of grief. As a family, we attend therapy sessions with a Therapist who provides general grief counseling. While both types of therapy are beneficial, I feel the support from Heartache2Hope is much more effective.”

"The program exceeded my expectations in every way. Amazing, supportive, understanding facilitators. The readings were informative and helpful. My experience in the Closed Group has been extremely helpful in helping me deal with the emotions and grief related to my sister's death.”
